I'm trying to put my finger on why, exactly, I find Clinical Speech Pathology subjects soooooo boring. I struggle with focus constantly when in this class.

I suspect it's because this would be extremely useful AFTER or during a placement, while grappling with the reporting and documentation requirements. But it feels academic, abstract, and deadly dull to wade through this stuff before ever setting foot in a clinic.

Usually the first thing I do when writing a blogpost is change these bland boring stock images. But today, I think it's more than appropriate.

I dedicate myself to the road anew. Death rides beside me.
